Okay my friends, for several years we've been selling the Rose Brass Wisemann Flugelhorn.  We know it's awesome, but e-mail after e-mail
asking "do you have a demo?"  "Do you have a used?"  In other words, SOMETHING LESS EXPENSIVE.  While the price was pretty darn good, this is most often a second horn.  Maybe played for one piece in a night.  Really: Can we have a nice horn, but less money.  So while we still offer the FLH-600, we've added the FLH-300 for those looking to save a few bucks by replacing the Rose Brass Bell, with a Gold Brass.  Less expensive to make, thus a saving to you.  We lose some of the rich complexity of the copper rich Rose Brass, but gain a bit in responsiveness and it's a bit brighter player.  Same build quality.  Same case.  And still agreat value.

Often referred to as a "doubler" these are very nicely made horn with a very fine responsive tone.

Looking for a great gift for your trumpet playing Boy Friend/Husband/Wife/Girl Friend/Son/Daughter/Mom/Dad/Boss/Neighbor?   Then this can be the answer
to your prayers.  The Flugelhorn is standard among Jazz/Big Band trumpet players but offers a great color pallet of sounds for those in smaller brass ensembles
or Large Brass Bands.

This horn is extremely nice for the money.  It does it's job and won't let them down.  Can you spend more?  Sure.  But this instrument usually isn't used
as extensively as their trumpet, nor put to as great demand.  So while they might have $2500 placed on their main horn, this fellow will sit proudly on it's stand
and will deliver when called upon in a competent manner.

This horn was designed by Kevin Powers, Master Brass Instrument specialist who designed and built horns for Schilke among other companies.

Here's some of the features:

The valves are Stainless Steel and the slides are Nickel Silver.

It has a heavy duty 3rd slide trigger. It's bell is 6.06" with a "French" bore size of 0.441"

Comes with a mouthpiece and one of those nice Wisemann cases.

If your in the "Q" (Albuquerque) come on by and try it out, I think you'll find it a nice weapon for your musical quiver.

"You'll buy it for the price, but play it for it's sound"
