These lanyards are great for hanging a camera around your neck or can be used to attach to an ID card or security badge (you may need the plastic holder for ID car/badge) or anything else that you could clip it to like a key chain for example.
They measure about 17 inches in length from end to end, or would be 34" if you cut it and laid it out flat, and measure 3/8 inch wide. Not sure what the material is but it is very sturdy, feels like nylon or something. Should be able to support the weight of a camera no problem.
These come with a quick-release for safety, so should it get caught on something it would not choke you.
