Sage XP 691-4 Fly Rod (6 WT - 9' - 4PC)- Excellent Condition


This Sage XP 691-4 4PC Fly Rod  is a Chicago Fly Fishing Outfitters "Trade-In/Trade-Up" used item that we are listing for sale.

The rod is EXCELLENT condition.  Previously owned, but from the looks of it - barely fished if at all.  It has incredibly minor and few abrasions at the ferrule junctions, and we can't find the usual scratches or dings usually found on used rods.  If there are any abrasions which we missed, they are very minor.  This rod is in really fantastic shape.  The cork looks like it has never been fished, as do the reel seat, fighting butt and all other components.  It has a full wells grip and an anodized reel seat (saltwater appropriate)  Th sock and tube are original - but the sticker on the rod tube cap says 8 WT XP - but is the same one as a 6 wt)

This Sage XP 691-4  fly rod would a great trout/smallmouth bass rod or small bonefish rod (basically any fishing situation where a fast action 6 wt rod would be used)

The action of this rod is "fast action"
