Using the USB flash drive, the MT-90S can load 1000's of commercially available Standard MIDI Files. Equiped with the latest USB emulator that stores 1000 floppies, not like some very expensive drives that only store 100 floppies. Includes: "Gentibus" that allows you to find quickly any midi file on your USB disks. Included on the 2gb USB flash drive: 278 floppies of custom Professional programmed midi files, many with lyrics. Complete instructions included.
About the customized USB emulator:
Built in self formatting function to format the USB flash drive into 1000 partitions of 1.44kb. Includes software to manage the partitions. Reads and writes to each partition. Displays firmware version for the emulator. Navigate through the partitions by using the 2 buttons in the emulator. Arrange the partitions and files on a PC or MAC. Uses normal usb flash drive. We recomend the 2gb version or above as the 1gb version only holds 662 floppies. Long file names supported. 8 segment numbers: represent partition name. Green led: status of read and write operation.
Plays Back Standard MIDI Files.
Using the USB flash drive, the MT-90S-USB can load commercially available Standard MIDI File disks and play them back through the internal speaker. Song data can then be played back at any tempo including part mute capability. A high-quality GM2/GS sound engine provides realistic instrument sounds that make practice and performance fun.
SMF Lyric Display.
When used with compatible disks, the new backlit LCD can display SMF song lyrics in real time. And by connecting a microphone, you can transform the MT-90S into an instant karaoke machine complete with a built-in echo effect.

Portable and Easy To Use.
The MT-90S-USB features icon-based buttons and a user-friendly 16x2 character backlit LCD, making common operations such as playing songs, muting parts, or changing tempo and musical key as easy as using a metronome. Lightweight design and a built-in grip handle make it possible to practice virtually anywhere.
Partitions on the USB Drive.
The first 10 floppy partitions have been left blank so thet you can use it as you wish for fast access. One way to use it is to copy your system disk or copy the tunes that are in your performance sets for fast access, exmple: set 1, set2, set3, etc... Loading time for files is almost instant, not slow like with floppies.
