Here is a very nice Realistic Pro 2005 that is still in great condition that has only the usual surface wear. The best part is that it has been upgraded to perform better than when it was new. The back light has been cleaned and polished inside and out so it is clear and scratch free. The dimmer button has been modified so it turns the light on and off. This helps prolong the life of the light when you don't need it. The normal scan rate for this radio is a slow 16 CPS, but a crystal was replaced to a higher value and it now scans at a respectable 30 CPS, that's faster than a stock Pro 2006 at 26 CPS. The volume and squelch have been cleaned so they won't make that "scratchy" sound when used, it has full coverage in the 800 MHz band, and both top and bottom covers have been lined with foil tape. This helps reduce interference and also improves the sound.
This classic is still very popular for analog listening because it's known for it's great reception and performance, especially for monitoring military air. Now you can own this classic knowing that it performs better and will last for many years. It comes with the original owner's manual and a new BNC antenna.

Liquid Crystal Display-shows the channel and the frequency you have
selected, as well as other information.

Two-Second Scan Delay-helps to prevent your losing replies on a channel
while you are scanning.

Memory Back-up-keeps the channel frequencies stored in your scanner's
memory if a power failure occurs.

Lock-Out Function-lets your scanner skip over a specified channel or group
of channels.

Ten Channel Storage Banks-allow you to group your stored frequencies so
that calls are easier to identify.

Priority Channel-helps to keep you from missing important calls on the
selected channel.

Direct Frequency Search-allows you to scan through every available
frequency to find interesting broadcasts

Monitor Banks-allow you to save up to ten additional channels located
during a frequency search.

Sound Squelch-keeps the scanner from stopping on a channel that is only
broadcasting a carrier, with no voice or other sound.
