Rare 1970s Breitling
Chronograph Rectangular Totalizer Hands x 4 Special kit. Some models of
Navitimer, TopTime, Datora, Sprint, Cosmonaute etc.

This is four (4) rectangular sub-dial
Hands suitable for fitting to the sub-dials of Breitling Chronographs powered by
the manual wind-up Venus 178, 188, Valjoux 7730, 7733, 7734, 7736 movements and
the Chrono-Matic self-winding movements Buren Cal. 11, 12, 14, & 15.
The Hands are in unused old stock
condition. I only have three (3) different types of these rectangular Hands but you
will be very unlucky if this selection does not fix your problem which
presumably is a missing or damaged set of sub-dial Hands. Be aware that we are
offering this set of sub dial Hands as a special kit for advanced collectors and
dealers. We cannot supply individual Hands - time does not allow.
Be prepared to change the colour of
these hands as required using red, orange or white acrylic hobby paint. It may
be the only way to get the hand that you want. Professional results are easy to
obtain.
The Kit: (4 Hands).
1. is a Totalizer Hand in black. 4mm
overall. The mounting tube is right down at the end.
2. is a duplicate of the one above.
3. is a Totalizer Hand in red. 4mm
overall. The mounting tube is right down at the end.
4. is a Continuous Seconds in black.
4mm overall. CS Hands have long fitting tubes. This is down at the end.
Please note that there were Hands of
this type that were coloured white or orange and there were Hands of this type
that had the fitting tubes in the middle of the rectangle. We are only able to
offer the four you see listed above.
Condition:
unused old stock.
These Hands are not common in any
condition and they are close on 45 years old.
History.
These are original Swiss made vintage
spare parts for pre 1979 Breitling Chronograph Wristwatches.
Suitable for the vintage Breitling
Chronograph Collector, Repairer, Restorer and Builder.
These parts are guaranteed to be
genuine Swiss originals.
They were purchased by me, in the
1980s, from suppliers involved with the liquidation of stock from the original
pre 1979 Willy Breitling Company.
