Diagnostic USB PC  6ft cable that plugs into the unique OBD socket found on the 14CUX series ECU loom known as the "hot wire" used on many Rover V8 engined cars around the early 1990's.  The cable has red and green LED's to show ECU communication and comes with "RoverGauge" freeware diagnostic tool on CD, that gives all sensor data - Engine temp, fuel temp, speed, RPM, Voltage, Lambda trim, Throttle pot, AFM voltage, idle status, live fuel map display, fuel pump status, injector pulse width, and stepper motor position. It also has stepper motor control and fuel pump control inputs. Full range of ECU fault codes. Sensor data logging facility and Eprom copy function.  If you are interested in mapping the fuel map  display will allow you to see the current load point, that can now be altered with software like Tuner Pro using  a suitable  Eprom emulator like the Moats Ostrich . The cable comes with the latest version of RoverGauge, USB cable drivers, instructions and various 14CUX manuals and web links on the CD. Runs on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 , 8  and 10. To run on an Apple it needs a Windows 7 emulator like VMware Fusion. The original locking Lucas TTS connector used on the OBD connector are now obsolete and unobtainable, so this cable has a simple 3 pin connector that's a push fit into the 5 pin white TTS connector found in the loom shown in the photos. This simple cable will save hours of trouble shooting, garage trips, and guesswork for anyone running the 14CUX ECU.

Please note a few ECU looms around 1990 do not have the TTS connector, and use a  white square 6 pin connector.(typically used on the factory MGBV8) so if you cant find the TTS connector, have a look  for this square connector.  It looks the same as the black connector used for the fault code reader, but is made from white plastic instead. If you need the MGB cable please contact me before ordering a cable as these are made to order.

Note: Download and extract the files to one folder on your hard drive. RoverGauge.exe must be run from within the folder, it cant be run without the associated files. It will run without a cable if you want to see all its functions, but obviously wont connect to the ECU.

This cable is NOT compatible with the P38 series  V8 Range Rover fitted with the GEM's engine management system.

Cables are shipped by first class signature Royal mail, or Airmail,  signed for international for overseas orders.
