These Altaya models typically come on a black or grey plastic base with a clear acrylic dust cover, all of which are packed in a flexible plastic lid attached to a cardboard backing. This series of models was initially sold as subscription pieces in Europe and this sort of packaging is used to better protect them when mailed. Not certain as to the series under which the model was originally released but it came to us as one of the Altaya DeAgostini Combat Tanks Series.
Model has a heft that suggests it's made mostly of diecast metal and not resin/plastic but we are not certain of this. Diecast / Resin model. Released in the US market as Altaya DeAgostini Combat Tank #ALT0032.
MIB but three edges of the blister packaging were opened in order to remove the model to take our pictures; these were then re-sealed with clear plastic tape in order to better protect the model during shipping.
FOR ANYONE NOT FAMILIAR WITH HOW TO INTERPRET A MODEL'S SCALE, THE MODEL IS 3 3/8 INCHES LONG. THIS IS EQUIVALENT TO DIVIDING THE LENGTH OF THE REAL VEHICLE IN INCHES BY 72.
