I am not able to create artwork as smooth as an original finish Breyer, please take note of this before bidding!!
I have been painting custom horse statues since 1989. Each horse is hand painted in airbrushed acrylics, and then finishing details are added such as glossy tri-colored eyes and glossed hooves. Each horse has their Breyer or Stone logo removed and some sanding has been done. They are basecoated with Krylon primer and finished with many layers of Krylon's Satin and Matte sprays.
Custom horses are more delicate than original Breyer models, and are intended as a collectible. They are not durable enough for play.
