Grading Scale:

Mint (Mint): Mint cards are cards pulled straight from a pack and put into a sleeve for storage.  They have no visible defects and have not been played.

Near Mint (NM): Near Mint cards may show minimal to no wear from shuffling or general play. A card in Near Mint condition is generally indistinguishable from cards in an unsleeved deck of other Near Mint cards.

Slight Play (SP): Slightly Played cards show definite, minor wear. Examples of cards in this grade include cards with minor border wear, minor corner wear, very minor binder bending, slight scratching, clouding, or scuffing/loss of sheen on the front due to play wear. Sleeves may or may not be needed to play these cards in a tournament.

Moderately Play (MP): Moderately Played cards show moderate wear, but are still legal for tournament play if sleeved. Examples of cards in this grade include cards with moderate binder creasing, moderate corner wear, moderate border wear, whitening on the back or front face of the card, moderate scratching or clouding, or slight (hairline) shuffle creasing.

Heavily Play (HP): Heavily Played cards show extreme wear, and may not be legal for tournament play, even in a sleeve.  Heavily Played cards may have moderate to major whitening, moderate to major border wear heavy scratching or clouding, or visible shuffle creasing. Heavily Played cards are any cards that grade worse than Moderately Played that are not damaged.

Damaged (DMG): Damaged cards show wear that is beyond normal wear and tear.  Damaged cards may have writing on the back, major creasing, folding, major water damage, moderate to major whitening, major border wear, moderate to major inking (including white-bordered cards that are markered on front to look black-bordered), tearing, chunks missing out of the card.
