808 BOOM KICKS SUB BASS DRUM SAMPLES


A no-nonsense sample pack featuring over 300 studio quality sub bass/kick drum samples.
Recorded using an original Roland TR-808 machine. Perfect for your Hip Hop or EDM productions.

Each sample is tuned to all 12 notes of the chromatic scale, so you can find the one that fits best with the key of your track.

The samples were recorded several times from the 808 using various methods:
• Direct into digital audio interface at 24-bit / 44.1KHz.
• Through analogue pre-amp onto 1/2" tape (slightly saturated).
• Onto 1/2" tape with low-pass filter.
• Onto 1/2" tape completely over-saturated and compressed.


All samples include short, medium & long decay options as well as soft & hard attack versions for more or less 'click' to the transient of the kick.
There are six sets of 52 samples, so that's 312 individual samples in total. All samples are 24-Bit Mono WAV files organised into clearly labeled folders.
