Vitesse #V98047 Lotus Elise Open Convertible, 1:43. Vitesse was started in 1982 as a Portuguese company making die-cast cars mostly in 1:43 scale. This NEW and ABSOLUTELY MINT Lotus is finished in the very correct Norfolk Mustard Yellow. The interior is finished in Storm Grey. Beautiful detailing abounds, including rearview mirrors, Lotus Sport steering wheel, side marker lights, chrome tipped exhaust, the Lotus Roundel on the hood, and proper Double5 5 spoke wheels which are all exquisite. Another nice feature is a "back mirrored wall", which not only shows off the other side of the model, but gives the illusion of sitting in a show room. The unusual square display case is equally stunning, with no scratches, scuffs, or damage of any kind. THIS IS A LOT OF MODEL FOR THE MONEY!Like all my models from my personal collection, she has never been displayed, and stored carefully and sympathetically in a controlled environment.
