¬AXA BASTA SOLID FRAME/HORSESHOE LOCK - GREEN!

This is a clever little lock that is good for immobilising bikes. It fixes permanently to the bike so you never have to remember to take it with you and the key is always in the lock when unlocked so you can't forget that either!

This lock works by engaging a bar through the spokes which prevents the wheel being turned. These are as common as canals in Holland and elsewhere in Scandinavia.

For quick 2 minute stops to pop into the newsagent it's just enough deterent without resorting to a full-on cable weaving exercise around a lampost stinking of dog wee.

Fits to seatstays near the brake bridge/calipers. Some bikes (mainly Dutch and European hybrids) have bosses on the frame which allow this lock to be directly mounted. If you do not have these please choose the "fitting parts required option" in the menu - these parts are flexible and will allow the lock to be fitted to most frames.

Can also be fitted to V Brake bosses on some bikes.

This lock is not compatible with AXA plug-in chain/cable lock extensions.
