Though
it has been a mere thirty years since Michel Parmigiani commenced
his career in watch making, he has quickly made a name for himself
as a leading avant-garde Swiss watch making brand. He began restoring
timepieces during his youth, thus fueling his already present interest
in the art of horology. In 1996, Parmigiani Fleurier launched his
first collection and in 12 short years has gained worldwide renown
for his unique, beautiful and complex timepieces. Parmigiani
Fleurier Timepieces have an outstanding level of finish that is virtually
unparalleled. Even though it may never be visible, each component
is chamfered, polished, and sometimes hand-engraved. The craftsmen

Beating within the steel case is the manual winding Calibre PF110.1-
28-jeweled movement. Bridges are hand-chamfered beveled, Swan-neck
regulator with “Côtes de Genève” decorative motif. (adjusted 5
positions) held together by 6 bridges but without a magnifier, 3 of
the bridges are laser cut and polished to an almost zero tolerance. The
double spring barrels gives the 8 days of power reserve. The movement is made in-house and beautifully finished ...
