Pierre Bex jewellery was made from 1969 until the end of the 1980s.   The designs were handcrafted using molds and stampings dating back to the late 1800s.   Sadly the jewellery is no longer in production, which means that it is becoming increasingly difficult to find genuine pieces, especially the more exquisite items.

The wonderful Art Nouveau and Art Deco designs are brought to life with the use of 'antique silver' (an old process of placing a layer of silver over copper), colourful enamel and sparkling rhinestones.   The brooches/pins mostly have the French barrel lock fastener (Trombone fastener) although C clasps were sometimes used and very occasionally signed 'Pierre Bex' on the back.

Pierre Bex also brought out the Ferraggioli range.   Although these pieces were later reproductions of early to mid 1900s style, they are considered vintage pieces highly collectable and they certainly look the part.

If you are interested in Pierre Bex items, I will be listing many, many pieces over the coming weeks and months.

This item will be packed carefully and posted promptly once payment received
