Vintage Key Wind Up Mac Motorcycle

Following the Second World War, Karl Arnold's toy manufacturing was in the U.S. control Zone in Germany, and their toys were stamped with "Made in US Zone Germany." This is a 1950's version of the motorbike featuring a civilian rider. When wound it had two actions. At first, the Mac rider remains seated on the bike with the engine running, then he gets off and stands beside it. He then remounts and rides in a circle, stops to dismount, stands beside the bike before getting back on and riding off again. By engaging a shift lever on the right of the gas tank the MAC rider rides in a circle without dismounting.

Please note in the pictures, the item is missing its headlight. Other then that it is a wonderful piece!
