Lovely old Swiss made Cortebert watch,from the late 1950's,chances are if you are looking at this you will know about these Swiss made watches which are becoming very collectable and harder to find,it has a beige/ gold coloured face and is mechanical (hand winding.)This watch was left to me about 20 years ago and has just been sitting in a drawer,so I have decided it's time to go ,hopefully to someone who will appreciate it,I have wound it up and it works but is losing a little time so will need servicing,details as follows:
The dial is marked Cortebert Sport at top,Airguide/ Swiss made at bottom,the glass is clear and in good condition for its age,silver coloured hour minute and second hands,silver coloured case,gold/beige coloured face which has marks on it and will need cleaning,approx.35 mm in diameter not inc. crown,crown is marked with Cortebert logo.
The back is marked Grand Prix,has Cortebert logo,marked with number 9539,also states Acier inoxxydable,waterproof,shockproof and anti magnetic,the back has scratches on it.It has a black leather strap,but is not the original.
This is a totally original watch from this classic manufacturer,please read the description and study photos as this watch is over 50 years old and although working will need to be professionally serviced and cleaned to return it to its former glory,.
