Being offered on this auction is a
gorgeous vase made by Rosenthal China,
Selb, Bavaria,
Germany. It
is Art Nouveau design. Vase has gorgeous shape of classic ancient amphora.
Its lower part is divided on four parts. They are in pink with gold frame.
Upper part is of white background decorated with expressive paintings of
bouquets made of pink roses and blue flowers. Handles are in pink with
white on the top. They are gilded from sides. Vase has gold rim. Vase is
marked on the backside with standard ‘Rosenthale Bavaria’ mark in green.
This mark identifies original production of c.
1920.
Vase measures about 3 ¾” in diameter
on its widest portion and stands 7 ¾” tall. Condition is good with no
cracks or chips found. Colors are bright and vibrant. Gold has been worn
off on rim and handles. Please take a look at the pictures to find out more
