HAND CRAFTED FAT TELE SET

This set consists of a vintage style, scatter wound Tele bridge pickup paired with a PAF style humbucker. The bridge pickup bobbin is carefully built and prepared using the best American made parts available. It is wound with high quality, American made plain enamel magnet wire and is finished with vintage style 8 ply cotton string and a zinc plated steel base plate. The 49.2 mm PAF style humbucker is built with all vintage spec parts including: butyrate bobbins, keeper, poles, slugs, a threaded long leg frame for secure contact with the pole pieces, vintage style braided lead, paper coil tape, maple spacer and is capped with a nickel plated, nickel silver cover. The bobbins are wound ccw with carefully selected 42 awg and purposely mismatched for enhanced frequencies. All coils are scatter wound using my world famous winding techniques (yes, I have been at this since 1996 and know that Gibson never produced a hand wound PAF). Because the humbucker is hand wound, it has an openness and the colorful tonal qualities rare in today's mass produced humbuckers and found only in the best vintage PAFs.
I am not going to spew a bunch of meaningless crap at you by using a ton of descriptive words that mean something different to everyone. The fact is, all hand wound coils are unique regardless of what anyone tells you. Designated hand winding patterns will achieve similar results, but to suggest that scatter wound coils will be exactly the same from pickup to pickup is garbage. Pickup height plays a very important role in tone so before you swap those pickups out, I recommend that you try making some height adjustments first; however, cheap pickups will always sound cheap and one dimensional.
If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your set, send them back for a refund, exchange or just a bit of tweaking.
