This HERMES scarf is of 100% silk twill, of heavy silk weight, done in shades of gold, beige and black on a cream-colored background, in a terra-cotta colored border. The title is “ARMS OF UNITED STATES”, was designed by Hugo Grygkar, and was first issued in 1955. The pattern is of a map of the United States, surrounded by the State seals of the United States. All 50 States are represented, and are quite intricate. Superimposed on this background is a large border pattern of classical elements on a terra-cotta colored background border. This scarf is beautifully printed in separate screen colors. All of the edges are hand rolled and hand stitched, a true mark of quality on this generous sized HERMES scarf. The original HERMES box is included in this sale.

Marked HERMES - PARIS in black and gold, centered on the lower outer border. There is an attached fabric content and a care instruction label. Made in France.

In new condition - Never used or handled. The original HERMES box is included. From storage, there are signs of wear on the box edges. Please see photographs.
