The Yashica T AF is a high-end 35mm film compact camera introduced in 1983.

This camera began the production of the T* series, which was a massively successful line of compact cameras that used high quality Carl Zeiss Tessar 35mm lenses with the legendary T* coating.

This Yashica T AF lens is automatically controlled and is protected by a dark translucent cover that only slides back when an exposure is made. The camera has a shutter speed range of 1/30 to 1/700 seconds, is compatible with ISO 50 to 1000 film.

Sliding the top plate to the left reveals the red shutter button along with the grey toggle that starts the Yashica’s self-timer. The grey “FLASH ON” switch on the back of the camera pops the flash out to the side and the adjacent indicator light glows orange when it’s charged and ready to fire.

This example is in very good condition and has been tested with film in the past week. It comes with brand-new batteries, plus its original printed manual, carry case, lens cap and neck strap. The camera also comes with the rarely found Yashica YT-CL Close Up Adapter, which simply clips on the front of the camera when required.
