look over the photos for your description as i keep using the same add with different new pictures for each stove as i sell them , these pictures are what you get , the multipe canister photos is just to show you i have worked on a few of these stoves , and the photo of it broke down is just a stock photo i use to see how i tear them down for a rebuild  ,,, all the other photos are of this very stove . it has been fire tested and works great !!!

. no flame disk or wrench with this one but there easily found on ebay . if you want a more complete one they are 150 each .

the Model 530 Coleman pocket stoves

fiddling with these old stoves is a hobby of mine , i must have rebuilt at least 25 of the 530 model stoves to date , i like the compactness of these . many many folks are confused and think these are a military stove , they are NOT , they do work very similarly and even look similar  but these were made for the civilian market after the end of world war 2 for just a few years the 530 parts do not interchange with the military stoves ...... .

so these stoves are all about 70 years old today , they are very well made and made to be fixed not thrown away , i do a complete disassembly , clean each part , replace any broken or damaged part or parts  , replace a fuel cap gasket , graphite packing , generator , generator screen , what ever is needed . its a case by case chore as no two stoves need or get exactly the same treatment .....

originally these came with a funnel , wrench and heat defuser disk as well as a carrying case that doubles as cooking pots using the wrench handle to become the pot handle , all very cleverly designed ... often times as you can imagine many of these accessories have become lost over time , some like the wrench and heat disc have been reproduced , i look for original parts when i can and have used some of these repo parts to get these stoves back in working condition and complete with all there accessories once again .. it often costs me over 50 dollars to find and replace all the missing pieces and complete a stove such as this .  new disks are 10 bucks , new wrenches are 15 clams , funnel are 10 to 15 dollars , and the stove cases sell for about 30 follars all by them selves on ebay so you can do the math here :-)

...the frames are made of stainless steel and clean up very nice , the fount or tanks are nickel plated brass with a plated steel bottom . so only this bottom is likely to rust if water gets inside for an extended time . so these stoves really clean up nicely . i pressure dunk  test my work under water confirming no joints are leaking  , then i fuel em up and FIRE TEST each one after its completion . so i am offering these stoves for the first time to the public , i have about 20 of em on hand today ,,,,, its usually a 4 to 5 hour job to tear one of these down completely , clean and hand polish and inspect each piece , and then re assemble .... i think you can see the results in my stoves .

maybe you have one and it needs my services ? i can take care of that for you as well , im offering my services mail order or you can drop em off at my house in Moreno Valley CA  if your close enough .... these are great little stoves and are a great piece of American history ... yes you may be able to find one cheaper , but does it work , has it been cleaned inside n out ? often times its a crap shoot buying these . with one of mine you can feel confident your not gona have any issues .....each has gone thru what we call a BB dance to break down old fuel deposits and any rust inside . i charge 50 dollars plus parts for this service .

occasionally a packing may need to be tightened , the tip cleaner needs to be rotated , and these flame up BIG TIME upon start up this is how they were designed , after a minute or two they settle down to a nice blue flame after its fully warmed up , now you can pump it some more to the desired heat you want ......

some folks are scared of this warm up period before it settles down , go buy yourself a propane stove if this bothers you ....... these are vintage old school stoves !!!

there is a lot of FUN factor using these unique little stoves , you will get many years of fun from these model 530 pocket stoves .... i offer tech support on any stoves i have sold as they do need some occasional service . like a neats foot oil bath for the pump leather , of a tightening of the graphite valve packing .... these burn coleman fuel or white gas NOT kerosene .....

there is no real flame adjustment knob on these , so dont pump it for all its worth before liting it . once its lit and settled down you can always add a few more pumps if you want more heat . that is how to control the flame here .

please look over the pictures as your description as each stove is unique after being 70 years old they may have a scratch ,  nick  , ding ect ..... if you need more photos or just have questions ? just ask .

the last photo of a 530 stove broken down is a generic photo i use to illustrate how i tear em down completely for service and may not be of this actual stove .

i sell these stoves AS IS , as there 70 years old but rest at ease each has been fully tested to the best of my abilities , im no rookie with these things , i think my 100 percent positive feedback reflects this ........... bid with confidence !!!

the canisters are made of aluminum and can scratch easily  , i clean em up as best i can , knock out a few dents but i dont polish em . you can spend hours polishing up these cases , some folks like to do that to em .

the last photo is just to show you im not kidding when i say i have worked on a lot of these stoves :-)
