Rare tourist ware tankard made by the Bernard Leach St. Ives pottery circa 1925.

Carries the following motto "Health and Prosperity To thee and thy Posterity".

Quite possibly made and decorated by Michael Cardew.

It measures 12 cm in height.

Carries "square" St. Ives seal to base.

One small area of glaze loss (not damages), also  tiny nick (?) to rim. Overall very good condition.

A great example of early Twentieth Century studio pottery.
