This is a vintage Hitachi 2-piece VCR system. It separated the VCR from the tuner so you could go mobile with a video camera attached without having to carry the tuner around.

Model number is VT-TU8A and VT-8.

Unit powers on and when I tried to play a tape the mechanics work fine, I hear audio, but there is no video output.

Therefore the unit is being sold AS-IS for parts/not working.
