About the The Legend I Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece
The Legend I is based on the Legend-ary design of the original Michael Brecker I (MB1) model tenor saxophone mouthpieces made by Dave Guardala in the early 80’s.
Our Legend I features the same high rollover baffle that gave those mouthpieces such a special and unique mixture of brightness and fullness. You can push the Legend I for focus and to cut through when you need it, or you can lay back on it and blend into a section. The Legend I can take an incredible amount of air so there is no limit as to how far you can push it, yet it plays with subtle back-pressure so you can shape your sound to what you want, and never lose control.
The Legend I has become widely popular among players all around the world because of it’s versatility and sound, and we have one that is waiting just for you.
The Legend I is handmade in Ft Myers, Florida.
