Charley Harper Cardinal Courtship Hand Felted Sculpture

Designed by Gold Leaf Design Group and approved by the Harper Estate, each intimate and collectible sculpture is a representation of Mr. Harper's 'minimal realism'.

Based on the Charley Harper serigraph of the same name.  Not a toy.

Bird is hand crafted of felt with thread-wrapped wire feet and wings - Made in India

Box was opened in order to take photos and to ascertain that contents matched box description - bird has not been removed from clear plastic bag

Bird measures approximately 7" long from beak to tip of tail and 5" tall from top of head to base of feet (bird was measured while encased in plastic--measurements may not be precise) 

I have two of these cardinals

 Box has some shelf wear as does the color paper sleeve which slides over the box--one of the paper sleeves has a small tear on the back as well as some adhesive residue and scratches at the seam - the clear plastic bags inside the box are different from each other--one is sealed and the other is closed with a piece of adhesive tape - the first buyer will receive the box which is in better condition and the sealed bag
