Fishing boat caught in a storm. Large, unsigned seascape oil painting on canvas in overall excellent condition with some minor crazing. Reverse side of the canvas shows a raised spot however there is no indication and nothing apparent on the front of the canvas to indicate a repair. Painting appears to be from the late 19th century as the brackets on the reverse side of the frame have patent dates of 1883 and 1885.
Entire piece including frame measures 30 3/4 x 21 inches. Canvas measures 25 x 15 1/2 inches.
