Antique embossed top oak Wheeler & Wilson Sewing Machines parts storage box. Original finish and hardware on the box. Complete with the original burgundy colored velvet inserts. Box measures 8 5/8" long x 3 1/4" deep and 2 5/8" tall. Inside measurements are 8 1/8" long" wide x 2 5/8" deep and 2 1/16" tall. Hand-buffed with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax to a soft luster. Constructed of 1/4" solid oak and assembled using fingerjoints. Small piece missing from clasp (see last picture). This is beautiful honey colored one-of-a-kind item that any collector would prize. Some very minor marks from age and use. Shipping weight approximately 1 1/2 pounds. No reserve!
