This listing is for a Vintage Style Black Mammy Doll with a Red/White Gingham Dress made from a vintage pillowcase w/hand embroidered border trim and a long White Apron made using a vintage eyelet Runner,  NEW

This doll is made as the traditional Amish Dolls with no eyes, mouth or nose, and instead of the big Amish hat, she has a white scarf tied in the front of her head, her dress is a simple design made with a vintage pillowcase done in red/white gingham fabric 1/4 inch squares with long sleeves and white small venice lace trim at the hem and a very small piece of white color bias tape for her neck. I purchased this vintage pillowcase way back thru a vendor in E-bay, it was used but in perfect condition with the border embroidered in white, I am not sure if this style is called "chicken wire", it also has a very small white hand sewn rickrack ribbon on top of the embroidery. Her white apron is 19 inches long and 14 inches wide and is done using a Vintage Embroidered Eyelet Runner that I had to repaired at the bottom, cutting and re-sewing it again and it came out perfect. I sewed a long piece of new wide bias tape all around the waist that ties in the back with a long bow. The doll  has long pantaloons and a underskirt (see pictures) the scarf in her head is made with the same 100% cotton fabric used in her under garments.

It's a lovely little doll that's 19 inches long (with the dress and hat it's almost 29 inches long) made using a brand new 100% cotton black fabric, it is in perfect condition, with no stains, rips, odor or any other damage,  I will add a new handmade gift tag with the doll just in case you want to use her as a gift. Perfect touch in a vintage kitchen or laundry room!
