RELISTED ITEM -With a few minor changes/additions in Description

Up for Sale is a VINTAGE 1933 EMERSON ELECTRIC 18" Tall Oscillating and Tilt electric fan.
4 - Blades that measure about 4 1/2" at widest point, 6 1/2" tall, and really puts out some strong air. The cage measures about 14" in diameter, and 3 7/8 depth. It has been cleaned a little because was stored and pretty dusty, and needs some more cleaning. Also by measuring from very bottom of fan to top of cage (while straight up and not tilted), it measures approximately 18" tall. I always try to get very accurate measurements, but with this type of item it was kinda hard.

This shows some minor rust on cage and I'm sure can be cleaned off, on tote handle, some in other areas. It also has areas of missing/worn off black paint. The plate on top of the motor where all information is usually printed is mostly worn off. After doing some research to try and date the fan, there is a very small number down at bottom right on the plate whereas the 3 is still very visible, and what appears to may be? a 1 beside of it, research shows you are to add 20 to this number so I date this to be manufactured in 1933?, You can see parts showing that it was made in the United States, and where the AMPS is suppose to be, partial number of 0 (not sure what's in front of that). Plugged it in and it WORKS GREAT on all 3 speeds, still tilts and oscillates with no hesitation or unusual noise. I was kinda shocked, but motor sounds great, heard no rattling of the cage. Emblem on front has tiny dent and Very Minor scratches. Still VERY READABLE, and it's silver and blue with a Pyramid. Also states down at bottom ST. LOUIS MO. Bottom has thick pad attached for furniture protection. Cord looks to be original, has 2 small places where black tape has been applied, and the rest, I see no breaks. May be getting a little fragile, but saw no sparks flying or odor when I plugged it up, so that's good. I do believe this is made out of some cast iron since it's sooo heavy. SOLD AS IS. (PLEASE REFER TO POSTED PICTURES FOR A BETTER DESCRIPTION).

I'm NEW at this, so give me a chance. I will always do my best to advise any imperfections that I see. Also over several months have many nice items to list, mostly all from Estates, Antique, Vintage, and all Collectibles. If you have any questions, please send message and I will get back to you as soon as possible. If you don't, then I must have missed something, and I myself would like to know also. Not one for many words like lots of Sellers I see, but will definitely make a heck of a good attempt to help you. Your Shipping I understand will be calculated by eBay from your Zip Code//Location, and been told lots of times that's a rear kicker for a Buyer, and causes a lot of hesitation on purchasing items. (By the way, this item weights 20 lbs. 4.9 oz. by my postage weight scales which is usually pretty accurate, and it's already wrapped for secure shipping). Just know that if there's an overcharge thru eBay's calculation, there will definitely be a Refund issued to your PayPal Account less the cents amount). I'm unable to mail on Weekends.
