DETAIL: A wonderful concentric abstract piece by the well listed British artist Kevin Jones. This work is an early one dating to the late 70's early 80's and housed in the most awful original frame possible!!
Kevin Jones was born in London in 1951. A self-taught artist, his compositions can vary from severely simplified single images to the rhythmic contours of multi-image pieces. Alternatively, other images are geometrically abstracted to the point where they no longer represent conventional reality.
He uses different material as Conte pastel/crayon, charcoal, graphite, pen and ink on varying types of paper.
From the year 2000 onwards Kevin began exhibiting his work. As well as in galleries he exhibited at venues and Art Fairs in London, Bristol and Bath, and both Private Houses and Public Arts Centres throughout the U.K.
In recent years online sales have led to collectors in the U.S.A, Netherlands and Australia, purchasing his work. Also, a number of ‘high-end’ interior designers from these countries, and the U.K., currently have his work on their registers..

Glass & Glazing: As per our Shipping Terms (found in the shipping tab below) we do not post glass to prevent the high likelihood of transit damage and also for handlers safety- replacement glass costs just a few pounds and can be easily slipped into the picture on arrival where applicable (i.e. prints & watercolours).
Frames: Because of the fragile nature of picture frames, all frames are offered free with the painting. You are welcome to ask questions about the frame condition before buying but we cannot accept returns or requests for 'part refunds' because a frame arrives with some existing damage not sustained in transit.

All paintings are sold without glass for safety in transit. Replacement glass costs just a few pounds, is easily fitted, and saves the strong likelihood of your artwork getting damaged in the post if glass were included. We ship within a maximum of 3 days of purchase and will use a variety of 24-48 hour parcel carriers including Parcelforce, UPS, Yodel, City Link and Hermes. Internationally we generally ship UPS on a 5 day service. We ship worldwide apart from The Russian Federation and certain other countries where we cannot get parcel company coverage. You are also welcome to collect from our address near Cirencester, Cotswolds – at no charge. Unfortunately we have to charge a small premium for UK Highlands & Islands as well as Northern Ireland, please email for a postal quote if you live in these areas of the country.
We accept returns when notified within 48 hours of receipt. If the return is due to an error on our part then we will pay up to £12 for the return postage. If the return is for other reasons, not the fault of ourselves, then we will not pay for the return postage but will refund the full purchase price (excluding postage) on receipt.
