Length - From the seam on top of the shoulder to bottom of hem. Or on a bandeau style, skirt or trousers from top of garment to bottom hem.                   

Armpit to armpit   - Measurement across the back of the garment from seam to seam. This is not the same as a bust measurement

Sleeve Length - Measurement from top seam on sleeve to bottom of cuff. Measured on top of the arm.
