This is a vintage American Flyer S gauge train engine by Lionel. It is "Chessie GP 20 Diesel (Non-Powered)" item # 6-48004. Comes with original box & packaging.

Very good condition - pre-owned; lights work, not sure about the horn (don't have right transformer to test it - it made a one beep noise when power came on); minor wear; box shows some wear; see pics

This engine belonged to my Father who passed away; we are listing it for my Mother on her eBay account (we have a full-time eBay business as antiques4u). My Dad was an avid train buff. He was a big collector, but didn't run his engines much at all. Very often he'd take it out of the box once, check the condition, run it once, box it up again & put it away.
