Does the magnetism interfere with my cell phone or GPS system? First of all the magnet has no direct contact to the cell phone or GPS system, as the steel-clip is mounted to the device. 4 magnets with two opposite poles layout create a close magnetic field circuit so the steel-clip further more shields almost completely the magnetic field and the residual magnetism is lower than a common headphone. To all undertaken tests there was no sign of any interference with the performance of a cell phone, smart-phone or mobile GPS device, caused by the magnetic field of the Tetrax system. The same is true for the usage of MP3 Players such as iPods.
What surfaces do it stick to? The Tetrax Fix works on any smooth and flat surface, securely attaching it to car dash boards. It does NOT stick to dust, grease or silicone (either cases or dash boards treated with silicone based detailing fluid), a cleaning wipe is included to clean the surface the Tetrax Fix is being attached to.
How many steel-clips do I get with my TETRAX package? Each Tetrax Fix package contains 1 x Medium (11mm) and 1 x Large (14mm) adhesive steel-clips (these can be bought separately) equipped with 3M structural adhesive tape, to be affixed to the back of
the Smartphone or non-silicon case to attach to Tetrax Fix.
How do I remove my device from TETRAX correctly?
Sliding it vertically or horizontally is always the best solution, avoiding strong frontal forces.
