Wonderful German antique, heavy china, circa 1880s, "Frozen Charlotte" (bathing doll) with painted features and beautiful, curly molded black hair. She stands 4 1/2" tall, with her legs and feet molded apart and her arms outstretched and bent at the elbows and feet molded to stand. Her feet show the molded boots with tassels although they were not paint decorated. She has blue painted eyes, sweet tiny mouth, rosy cheeks and virtually no paint wear, no chips or nicks, no hairlines or cracks, no repairs (normal mold roughness from factory on her behind) and will make a terrific addition to any doll collection or in the arms of one of your larger dollies. Last photos show her rare companion, a Biedermeier (bald) china, "Frozen Charlotte", listed separately and other items not included with this listing.

Please note: nearly all of our items are antique or vintage (usually with some signs of wear due to usage and previous storage). We do our very best to describe and photograph them for you and do not repair, restring, repaint or enhance them in any way as most collectors prefer to find them in their original state. Please use the zoom feature on our photos as they are an important part of the description (any white spots are glare from the flash and not on the doll). We try to list our items below current book value and will consider reasonable offers and respond after the item has been listed for at least twenty-four hours.

We appreciate your interest and hope you enjoyed your visit. If you are looking for something in particular please contact us with requests and stop back often. And be sure to add me  About member to your favorites list so that you will be among the first to find our next ebay treasures.
