Up for sale is our Teisco SX240 analogue synthesiser. 

It's been recently serviced including installing the Tauntek firmware upgrade which gives you full cc editing over all parameters - this takes an already excellent synth to a new level.

About this Teisco SX240

Overall, the synth is in excellent working condition. 

It's been recently serviced, which included replacing the internal memory battery, replacing all front panel tact switches and installing the Tauntek firmware upgrade for midi control and editing via cc. See http://www.tauntek.com/KawaiSX240.htm

Cosmetic condition is excellent. The front panel is very clean, with only minor blemishes. The wooden side panels are nice and tidy with some wear to the corners. The rear panel is also clean with only minor marks and blemishes.

All knobs, buttons and switches are present, original and function correctly.

All keys are clean and aligned and contact correctly.

The unit was tested today and the synth is working as it should be: 100% functional.


The synth is a 100v model so is supplied with a good quality UK made step down transformer.

Packing & Shipping:

I always pack my items with the same care I describe them (check my feedback). All items are bubble wrapped, surrounded in foam pieces and packed into a double wall cardboard box. So you can be confident of a strong parcel with fantastic contents arriving wherever you are.

The synth packed for shipping has dimensions  80cm x 50cm x 25cm and weighing approximately 13kg . Those dimensions mean that carriers go by 'volumetric weight' anyway.
