This is a December 1971 Physique Pictorial magazine. This was know as one of the first gay magazines. Back in the 1950-1960s these magazines were originally sold as body building and fitness magazines. Being gay and buying gay magazines were very looked down on during this time. Originally there were no nudes in this magazine because of obscenity laws but this issue has full nudes. There are over 40 different models posing in this magazine with a few fantasy picture scenes of bikers, hiking, sailors and playing around. There is also some homoerotic artwork including a few early images by the famous gay artist Tom of Finland. Two of Tom's pictures inside are of a cop forcing a naked swimmer in a compromising way to see the no swimming sign. Nice early Tom of Finland art! In perfect condition. 32 pages. Measures about 6 x 8 inches.
