Restored 11/16” Straight Cut throat razor Edgar Allen & Co  Sheffield

Straight razor was restored , cleaned and sharpened.

Shave ready .

  The condition of the razor is very good.

  Blade: cleared,  there is inscription,, Edgar Allen & Co  Stag Brand   ,, and picture with Stag , there are  notes of age, 

Edge: very good

                                                Scale: horn  , new handcraft                                    

                                      

This razor has gone through the following operations:

1. disassembling    

2. new handle        

                                       3. grinding blade and removing dirt and rust

                              4. polishing blade with diamond paste

                                  5. assembly of the handle with the blade

                                                                               6. installing new pins and washers / including inner copper washers /

                                     7. sharpening with Japanese water stones

                                                8. honing with linen canvas and smooth cowhide
