Star Wars - Large Scale Millenium Falcon
Cockpit Light Kit
This light kit has been designed and built primarily for use with large scale Millenium Falcon models eg Hasbro, Deagostini etc. Please check the dimensions of your model for suitability.
The set (along with the majority of our light kits) is completely pre-wired and ready to install. No electronic or assembly work required, just drill fitting holes as required in your model (1mm for fibres, 3mm for leds).
This is a great quality light kit designed to recreate, as near as possible, the control panels of the Millenium Falcon cockpit.
The set has an operating voltage of between 4v and 12v dc maximum, and as standard is supplied with a 9v battery clip.
Using the screw terminal connector, the set could be added to or used to expand our other light kits.
LED Colours & Intended Uses As Follows:
The set features a number of 1mm fibre optic bundles. Each fibre strand has a minimum 100mm usable length. The wire loom to each fibre bundle measures 160mm.
Included for the wall panels:
x2 10 strand static warm white
x1 10 strand static blue
x2 10 strand static red
x2 5 strand static yellow
x1 5 strand ultra violet
Included for the central front control dashboard:
x1 5 strand slow colour changing red / green / blue
x1 5 strand fast colour changing red / green / blue
The set also include six static leds that can be used to illuminate the rectangular wall strips on the rear and side walls, and any other panel detail as required.
Again, these have a minimum 160mm wire loom.

x2 3mm static warm white
I've designed this set to recreate the movie original as near as possible in the available space in most large scale models. It gives the model builder as much choice as possible as to which lights need to be included depending on how detailed the model build is.
We use 1mm best quality fibre optic, which sadly isn't cheap but gives the best lighting performance for its purpose by far and is the most flexible.
It is also the most easiest for the model builder to work with.
The fibre optics can carefully be cut to size to fit the model. Wire lengths can also be altered by the model builder if necessary.
Requires x1 9volt battery (not included).
