This is an excellent Sheaffer Crest fountain pen, 

the earliest version from the late 1930s with the open nib and lever filling system. 

It has been restored. 

A new sac has been installed. 

It has a perfect two-tone lifetime nib.

The nib size is close to medium. 

It writes smoothly. 

The cap is 14K gold filled.
