Intel Xeon E5450 3 GHz Quad-Core CPU LGA 771 Processor

CPU can be used directly as single or one of multiple processors in sever/working station with socket LGA771

It can also be used on some Gigabyte and MSI motherboards with LGA775 socket with very minor cut (google internet for instruction), perform slightly better than Core 2 Quad Q9650. For most other MBs which support Q9650,  you need to have a adapter to convert a pin to another location to fool BIOS (or /plus with Mod BIOS). All HP/Dell LGA775 PCs do not support this CPU.

All  purchases include a free adapter.

Fully tested in perfect working condition.

Surface may have some scratches,  but all the pins and capacitors in perfect shape. And guarantee work flawless.

Q:  I have an ASUS PQ5 Pro motherboard with an E8400 processor. What all needs to be done to make this E5450 work with this motherboard. After making the required changes to make the E5450 work, will the motherboard still work with the E8400? May-31-15
A:  ASUS PQ5 ? or ASUS P5Q? If it's later, it supports this CPU with an adapter. Yes, it will still support your original LGA775 CPU once the adapter is removed.
Q:  I was planning to purchase one of these and place it inside on a Dell Vostro 320 all in one that currently has a Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93GHz. So needless to say, yours will not work in the AIO, huh? May-30-15
