This unique and rare lens has been professionally adapted to Sony E Mount.  There are no glued parts or funky attachments.  There is no extra slop of hyper infinity focus, and the distance scale on the lens is accurate for Sony cameras.  You use it like any other lens, only it is obviously not OEM for Sony.  It was originally designed to cover 35mm full frame format, and thus works best on full frame Sony cameras.  FYI, I have two of these.  Both minty, and I shot these pictures of this lens I am selling using my other Reomar 35mm f2.8 on my Sony A7s.  I used the A7s because it brings out the fine contrast/microcontrast that this lens allows through it moreso than the A7ii or A7rii would.  I recommend this lens for the A7s in particular and for low light photography.  If you like fine contrast and 3d pop and want something slightly wider and slightly faster than the Meyer Optik Gorlitz Trioplan 50mm f2.9, this is your lens.  Fine contrast is its strong point.  It does not flare as easily as most Cooke Triplets I have because of the very nice coatings from Schneider.  They are fragile and this coating is pristine.  Of course you get the soap bubble effect if you try, but I tend to appreciate the 3d rendering more.  You can use this lens with M42 macro extension tubes if you want to.  The part where the lens attaches unscrews and allows for extension tubes.  Lens hoods are available, but surprisingly, I have not needed one because when the lens does flare, I am probably doing it on purpose.  The elements of this lens are very thin and very small precision optics.  It is a pleasure to use but seems too small for the awesome results you can achieve with this lens.  This is a true "art lens."  Comes with rear lens cap only.  I haven't found the "right" lens cap for the front yet because I don't buy bottled drinks but should be easy to figure one out.  I made mine with plastic.  Example images are unprocessed out of camera raw, camera neutral.  No added contrast, clarity, saturation, etc.  Can be punchier with these things but I've done this for demonstrating the lens.  I think the glass might contain more lead than my Trioplan.  It might offer a better image quality in my opinion, but I can't say for sure.  I've not done the side by side.  It's fine glass I can say for sure.  It has that "sheen" to it that the best glass does to where you almost can't see the glass.

Lens optics are flawless, cosmetically very near flawless if not perfect too.  Aperture very smooth and functions as it should.  No problems whatsoever.  See my feedbacks for what people have posted about my adapted lenses in particular :).
