Hello and thank you for visiting. Today we offer for your bidding consideration this fantastic Vintage 1930's Conklin Nozac Fountain Pen. Please see below for a detailed description including measurements and overall condition.


Features:


  • Glossy Black Veined Green Marble 12 faceted Barrel & Cap 

  • Gold Filled spring loaded Clip embossed with "Conklin" and a Art Deco style Gold Filled Cap Band

  • the Barrel includes a transparent section which is imprinted with "1M" up to "5M" and turning the Blind Cap to fill or empty the Barrel

  • the Barrel is inscribed.

  • also imprinted along the Barrel is " THE Conklin PEN CO.  TOLEDO OHIO. U.S.A.  NOZAC - D.84394  REG. U.S. PAT. OFF." and "U.S. PATS.  1902809-10-11"

  • fantastic 14K Flex Nib is embossed with "Conklin  TOLEDO  U.S.A."

  • Measures 5 1/8" (130mm) when Capped and 6" (152mm) when Posted

Condition:

  • No deep scratches, teeth marks or signs of repair to the Barrel or Cap
  • Cap appears to be in overall excellent condition with some micro scratches throughout
  • No dents or dings to the Clip or Cap Band and some small plate wear at the lower tip of the Clip

  • Piston Fill system appears in good working order however we are unable to turn the Blind Cap

  • Ink View window has excellent transparency

  • micro scratches can be seen along the Barrel otherwise no scratches, cracks or teethmarks

  • Nib is nicely intact and appears in perfect working condition

  • Feeder and Section appear nicely intact

  • Pen is Untested and Unrestored and in very nice overall cosmetic condition however it appears some servicing will be required to allow the pen to function properly

  • All combined, a beautiful writing instrument in overall excellent condition
