To check your firmware version:

,press the "setup" button for a short while, and the help menu will show up.Select  "Telephone/Audio Diagnostics"  "Device Description" and "Software". Your software version will be displayed.

To check your firmware version:


Hold in the setup button (for Citroen) or "SRC" button (for Peugeot) under, or to the left of, the touchscreen for about 5 seconds until the help menu appears.
Select "System Version".
The firmware version will start with SMEG 3xx 4xx or 5xx (for 7" Touchscreen) or SMEG 6xx (for 7" Touchscreen with Mirror Screen).
