Very unique and extremely eye catching set of 8 mid-century modern black and gold highball/barware glasses in 16 oz. size. These large heavy glasses apparently represent the old Atchison Specialty Company (ASCO) manufacturer of industrial products in Atchison, Kansas. The glasses prominently feature the famous “Jayhawk”—longtime mascot of the University of Kansas located south of Atchison. They also show a man at work, the ASCO buildings, and some products sold. Very RARE and interesting!! These glasses are in very good preowned condition with a small amount of paint loss on a few of the glasses, not all—see photos. No breaks, chips or other damage is evident. These glasses would be a wonderful addition to any barware collection OR to a Kansas Jayhawk fan! From a smoke free home.
