Cosmetically this synth is in acceptable condition with tape residue and light corrosion on top and back, light scratching top bottom sides front back, as depicted.  Several of the knobs are missing the small colored knob insets.  There is a hairline crack across the white keys from the third D to the third F.  There is light scratching at the top of middle E and F.  Some of the knobs are scratchy.  Having said this, everything works, it has a unique sound, the filter is especially nice.  Works on 220VAC but comes with a power adapter to 110VACDue to its rough cosmetic condition we are selling it as is.  Plenty of info available on the www; here's a typical description:

"The Synthetone SX-1000 is an old Italian basic mono-synth. It has a single analog DCO with three waveforms: sawtooth, square, and PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). There is an analog filter (12dB/octave) with cutoff, resonance, and LFO modulation. There is also a simple ADSR envelope for shaping your sounds. In addition there are also white/pink noise generators a glide effect and a vibrato effect. It's known for fairly stable tuning too. Probably its best sounds are the lead ones, the basses aren't that deep but it sure can scream!"
