Hi there here is my 1968 mk3 riley elf. g reg which makes it tax exempt that i have owned for the past 3 years unfortunately due to curcomestances i have to sell my project. this project 98% ready to put it back together and complete.
when i first purchased the elf 3 years ago it was a complete car that had been stored in a barn for the past 11 years my plans was to restore it to perfect condition with no expense spared.
this riley elf is unique because it has been debumperd. also i have pechased a 1300 metro engine with gearbox to go in it. along with mini replacement coil springs as its been converted to dry suspension, with a long list of new parts:
coil spring conversion kit with hi lo adjusters
knuckle suspension joints
subframe performance poly urethane kit
bottom arm performance poly bush kit
shock absorbers front and rear
under arm bump stops
left and right pre built brake back plate with cylinders
new wheel bearings for rear hubs
6 cosmic wheels
2 spare dash boards to restore
whole straight through exhaust system
the rear subframe has also been stripped back and repainted ready to be put back together
all rusted areas of the car have been cut out and replaced with new panels, so now the car is completly rust free. I completely stripped the car back to bare metal and then repainted with redoxide primer.
previously to purchase the car had
2 new wings
2 a panels
and front panel
witch are still in rust free condition and didnt need any sort of repair
i have also replaced the following panels.
2 new sills
arch to door repair panel left and right
left hand floor pan
repaired rear valance
2 new door skins
door bottom inner repair section L/H
also the paint has been already purchased
cellulose paint 2.5 ltr of old english white
5.ltr of cellulose primer
high gloss black for roof 1Ltr
cellulose clear lacure 1Ltr
with all thinners to complete respray
the paint and meterials have costed me over £250.00 pounds alone
