Attention Persons Looking for a

Super Solid Street Rod

or Restoration Project

This vehicle is for you!!

It is very solid as documented

by the photographs.

ID and Data Tag Information:

The ID number on the title matches the engine number, which is stamped on the casting boss right front corner of the engine block.  This number 37-63032 is displayed in one of the photos.

The body number which is stamped on a data plate attached to the right side cowl under the hood is 37-63049.

The small oval data tag, which is attached to the right side cowl directly above the body tag, is stamped 3 3831.  This signifies that the body color is number 31, Squadron Blue.

Vehicle History:

This vehicle was purchased new in Milwaukee, WI and remained in the Milwaukee area throughout its entire life.  The vehicle passed from a grandfather (original owner) to another family member in 1991 and then was purchased by Ken’s Klassics on October 10th, 2012.

Exterior and Sheetmetal:

This vehicle is truly a survivor and retains approximately 75% of its original paint!  The fenders are slightly dented, probably due to being stored in an old narrow garage.

It appears that none of the sheet metal has ever been removed.  Even the original silver pin-stripe is mostly present.

Several photos were taken to document the beautiful original trunk pan.  It is in mint condition!

All exterior bumpers, bumper guards, hub caps, door handles, trunk handle and hood ornament are present and original.  The rare original hood ornament has a pot-metal crack in the base that can be easily repaired and replated.

This vehicle is all stock and has no modifications!

Engine Compartment and Suspension:

The original engine appears to never have been removed from the chassis.  The engine runs good and shows no sign of excessive oil usage.  A compression test shows all four cylinders between 75 and 110 PSI.

A carburetor rebuild, new fuel pump and general tune-up would be necessary for safe daily useage.

The transmission shifts very freely and all suspension items are original and in unrestored condition.

Ken’s Klassics’s mechanic drove the vehicle approximately ten miles to check all functions.

All electrical items work and a new six volt battery was purchased.

The odometer reading is 37,143 and is assumed to be actual by the previous owner’s statements.

Interior and Glass:

Photos were taken after the seat was temporarily removed.  The floor pan is totally rust-free!

The seats, door panels, and headliner are all original.  The seat is in very good original condition and was covered prior to being purchased.  The headliner needs replacement, but is intact.

All glass is original and in good condition.
