Antique Vanity Jar Cut Crystal with a Sterling Silver Art Noveau Lid - it is mongramed but it is so "swirly" I can not read the initials. The cut glass crystal base is beautiful - there are no cracks or significant chips - along the fine edges you may feel slight roughness with your finger - so slight I could not get a picture of it. the Lid is Sterling Silver in an Art Noveau Pattern - very beautiful and in very nice condition - quite often these lids have some damage since theSterling is fairly soft. It appears to be an S is a crest I believe Sheffield. Then it says Sterling and following that is possibly 1014Y? I believ this pice is from around the 1920's? A very Beautiful Vanity piece.
