As easy as 1-2-3. These high quality stainless steel Go, No-go, and Field headspace gauges are specially designed so that you don’t have to remove the extractor to check your rifle’s headspace. Simply place the gauge on the bolt face with the notch fitting around the extractor and then close the bolt (or try to).

EASY TO IDENTIFY
Easily identify which gauge is which with the laser etched letter identifiers – “G” (go gauge), “N” (no-go gauge), “F” (field gauge). Now you no longer have to guess what gauge you are looking at. Also, each gauge has the caliber laser etched on the back to help prevent mixing up different gauges.

What is Headspace?
In simple terms, headspace is the clearance allowed between the base of the cartridge case and the face of the bolt.  Too little headspace and the bolt may not function properly or ammo may not cycle correctly.  Too much headspace can  cause unsafe gas leaks or ruptured cases that may harm the gun and may cause personal injury and/or death.
